Paste a recipe, a link, a screenshot, or photos of the instructions on your iPhone. Cook turns it into short steps and puts one huge step, what comes next, and a timer on the display of your Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses. Flick your wrist for the next step.
An iPhone app (iOS 17 or later) plus a small web app on the glasses. No account needed.

How it works
The phone reads the recipe. The glasses keep your place.
Your iPhone does the reading and the thinking. The glasses show only what you need right now, big enough to read across the kitchen.
01iPhone
Paste it, link it, or snap it
Paste recipe text or a URL, drop in a screenshot, or take up to three photos of a cookbook page or the back of a packet. The Paste chip reads "Paste link" when your clipboard holds one.
02iPhone
Cook turns it into short steps
An AI model reads the recipe into a dish name, an ingredient list with quantities, and short steps. Any step with a real wait gets its own timer. If it is not a recipe, Cook says so and leaves the glasses alone.
03Glasses
Send to glasses and cook
The display shows the step in huge type, what the step uses, what is next, and the timer. Flick your wrist to move between steps and pinch to run the timer. The phone and the glasses stay in step either way.
On the display
Built for a 600 × 600 display you look through.
White and orange on black, because on these glasses black is see-through. Every screen keeps a control guide along the bottom, so you never have to remember which gesture does what.

Wrist controls
Flick, pinch, hold. That is the whole manual.
Cook listens to the Neural Band that pairs with the glasses. Small wrist tilts and hovers are ignored on purpose, so a bump against the counter does not start a timer.

On the iPhone
Everything a real kitchen needs.
The glasses stay simple because the phone app does the heavy lifting.
Saved recipes
Every recipe Cook reads is kept on the phone, in a two-column grid with search, All / Favorites / Scaled filters, and step, serving and calorie badges on a cover coloured from the dish name. Star favorites, rename, delete, and cook one again without another model call. Favorites never age out; everything else keeps the newest 80.
Servings and batches
A servings stepper when the recipe says how many it feeds, or Half / 1x / 2x / 3x when it does not. Anything from 0.25x to 8x. Quantities, calories and the glasses all follow.
Pick the method
When a recipe lists more than one way to cook it (microwave, air fryer, oven, stovetop, grill, pressure cooker), tap a chip to swap in those steps. Or type any method and Cook builds the steps for it.
Tweak the plan
Say what was wrong, like "skip prep", "fewer steps" or "air fryer only". Cook rebuilds from the original recipe plus your note and re-sends step one to the glasses.
Ingredients you can check off
Check circles, short notes, per-item calorie estimates, a running kcal readout, and protein, carbs and fat totals when the recipe allows an estimate.
Unit conversion
Tap a quantity to cycle its units, weight to weight or volume to volume. Pick Metric or US as the default.
Timers named from the steps
Every wait in the recipe becomes a one-tap timer, like "Boil salted water 10:00". Add up to four more for the other pots. You get a notification when any of them finishes.
Steps read aloud
Tap the speaker, or have Cook read each step as it comes up, including when you moved it from your wrist. Music ducks instead of stopping.
Lock screen and Siri
A Live Activity shows the step itself with Pause and Next buttons. Siri and Shortcuts cover next step, previous step, start the timer, and read my step.
Stays awake, remembers everything
The screen stays on while a recipe or timer is running. Checked items, units, servings, your step and every timer survive a relaunch.
Optional account
Cook works without one. Sign in with email, a one-time code, or Apple to bring your recipes, favorites and settings to a new phone.
Talk to it
Both hands in the dough? Just say it.
Tap the microphone and Cook takes spoken commands, and answers out loud. A green VOICE pill on the glasses tells you it is listening, so you never have to pick up the phone to check.
Word matching, not guessing. "The background is messy" is not a request to go back.
It does not hear itself. Cook stops listening while it reads a step aloud.
Only while you cook. Listening ends when you leave the app and never runs in the background. Recognition happens on the phone whenever the phone supports it.
